Terms of Service
These terms cover your use of Trend, a macOS app made by James Callaghan. By using Trend you agree to them.
What Trend does
Trend helps you make short videos from your own music and footage, and upload them to accounts you connect on TikTok, YouTube and Instagram. Trend runs on your Mac; we don't host your content or run a service on your behalf.
Your content and accounts
- You're responsible for the videos, music and captions you make and post with Trend, and must have the rights to them.
- When you post through Trend, you must follow each platform's rules: the TikTok Terms of Service and Community Guidelines, the YouTube Terms of Service, and Instagram's Terms of Use.
- You can disconnect any account at any time from Trend's Publish screen, or revoke access on the platform itself.
Acceptable use
Don't use Trend to post content you don't own or have permission to use, to spam, to impersonate others, or to break any platform's rules or the law.
No warranty
Trend is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. Platforms can change or limit their services and APIs at any time, which may stop some features working.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of data, content, followers or revenue, arising from your use of Trend.
Changes
These terms may be updated; the new version will be posted here with a new date. Continuing to use Trend means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
