A macOS app by James Callaghan
Trend turns a musician's own songs, studio screen recordings and selfie clips into short vertical videos, and posts them to TikTok, YouTube Shorts and Instagram Reels.
How it works
- Add your material. Your song files, screen recordings of your music software playing each song, and short selfie clips.
- Make a video. Trend lines the footage up with the music, picks a section of the song, lays it out in a 9:16 frame and adds a caption.
- Post it. Trend uploads the finished video to the accounts you've connected: as a draft in your TikTok inbox, as a YouTube Short, and as an Instagram reel.
TikTok
When you connect TikTok, you sign in on TikTok's own website and approve access. Trend then sends the videos you choose to your TikTok inbox as drafts. Nothing is posted publicly by Trend: you open each draft in the TikTok app, edit it if you like, and publish it yourself.
Your data
Trend runs entirely on your Mac. There is no Trend server and no account with us. Your media, videos and settings stay on your computer, and sign-in tokens are stored in the macOS Keychain. See the privacy policy for details.
